A large number of vehicle vandalisms have recently occurred in Chesapeake, primarily within the southern Deep Creek and Country Club communities. During the March 10 - March 12 weekend, approximately 30 vehicle windows were shattered by unknown means. All but one of the vehicles was unoccupied when the crimes occurred and no other property seemed to be damaged. The police suspect the culprits to be shooting a BB/pellet gun at the vehicles. Anyone with information is asked to call Chesapeake Crime Line.
