The York- Poquoson Sheriffs Office needs information on the following crimes.
Sometime around 1:30 AM on 05-23-08 some unknown suspect (s) broke into the
Custom Mill Work Shop in the 300 block of Ewell Rd.located in the Williamsburg area
of York County. Entry was gained by breaking out a window, but nothing was stolen.
Sometime unknown between 05-22-08 and 05-23-08 some unknown suspect(s) entered
the Bargain Box Thrift Store located in the 200 block of Dare Rd. through a side door.
Once inside someone stole a tan colored Royal brand cash register and misc. costume
jewelry.
At approximately 11:23 PM on 05-23-08 2 unknown black male suspects attempted to
rob a victim in the parking lot, directly across from the Waterman’s Museum in
Yorktown. The victim advised that he was standing at the rear of his friends` vehicle
when suspects approached him. The victim advised that suspect #2 circled around behind
him and suspect #1 stood in front of him. Suspect #1 then pulled a small, silver, semiautomatic
handgun out of his right front pants pocket. The suspect pointed the handgun at
the victim, then pushed him backwards with his left hand and stated “give me what you
have in your wallet!”
The victim then ran towards the opposite side of the street. The
victim advised that both suspects then ran towards a red vehicle at the east end of this
same parking lot. The suspects then got into the vehicle and left towards Ballard Street.
The victim was unable to provide a description of the vehicle, other than its color. The
victim was also unable to describe suspect #2. The victim provided the following
description of suspect #1. He is described as being approximately 5`6`, thin build, short
hair, black t-shirt, blue jeans, unknown shoe description. The subject was also wearing a
long silver chain with a silver cross.
The victim was unable to describe the face of
suspect #1. The suspects did not obtain any property from the victim. The victim also
advised that the suspects did not touch anything other than him.
Sometime unknown between 05-23-08 and 05-27-08 some unknown suspect(s) stole a
300 foot spool of copper wire and 25 pieces of assorted copper from a work site located
in the 300 block of English Garden Way located in the Williamsburg area of York
County.
Sometime unknown between 05-26-08 and 05-28-08 some unknown suspect placed an
unknown glue type substance in a mailbox lock located in the 100 block of Appaloosa
drive in the Yorkshire Downs subdivision of Tabb.

The City of Virginia Beach needs your assistance in information about an attack that occurred at the All Around Pizza and Deli in the 3500 block of Holland Road.
