Virginia Beach Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect involved in a sexual assault.
On Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at 9:24 p.m., a 13-year-old girl was waiting for a ride outside of the Kempsville Family Skating Center located in the 5300 block of Lila Lane. The suspect approached the victim and asked to use her cell phone. When she offered the phone, he grabbed her arm and pulled her to the side of the building. As he began to sexually assault her, the suspect was scared off when a car drove by.
The suspect is described as a white male, 19-25 years of age. He is 5’7”-5’9” tall and weighs 160-180 pounds. At the time of the offense, the suspect was wearing a long sleeve red shirt and blue jeans with faded thighs.
